The General Election now comes into its final phase scheduled on 19th May. Preparation of ideological agenda for the election by the intellectuals was started well before the notification by Election Commission. The first issue was a matter of intolerance. Serious huge and cry over this was spread nationwide. Some of the Intellectuals, Artists and Celebrities were enraged and in protest they announced to return their national awards conferred to them for their outstanding contribution in their respective fields. But the reality was far away from the issue and there were no return of awards and the agenda did not survive. Next one came as “mob lynching”. These aspects were taken as the strike on secularism. The ruling party was docked in doubt and charged the Govt. was planning to change the constitution. The issue slowly died. The prestigious JNU campus was rocked with the slogan “Bharat tere tukde honge , insha allah tere tukde honge , Pakistan jindabad” . When condemned and JNU administration initiated action on the participants of organizers of the events, the JNU administration and the ruling party were charged of the suppression of freedom of speech. Major opposition parties stood in favour of the “Tukde Gang” and they supported the issue as the move was related to the students and it was going against the ruling party. The matter is now in the court.
In a surprise move, four of the Supreme Court judges crossed the barrier of their dignity and integrity and came in public raising their forefinger towards CJI for his way of functioning in the Supreme Court and called for help save democracy. This was a black day in the history of judiciary in India. Matter does not end here, the credibility of Supreme Court was challenged by some major opposition parties and they proposed to move impeachment motion in parliament against the then CJI. Shame to opposition. For the first time in the history of democracy in India a group of Scientist came out of their laboratory and appealed in general to cast their vote for safeguarding the constitution and its secular form. This is a very sorrow event for country. A few retired army personnels went on the same line. Hundreds of filmland artists got feared of the situation and expressed their dissatisfaction over the handling of social and political issues of the country by the ruling party and made it responsible for the chaos. They appealed the public to go with the opposition.
During the election period the President of India even did not remain untouched. He was dragged and blamed by calling him deaf and dumb by the opposition parties. Each and every institution of the country were put under doubts. Thanks, the voters who ignore all these issues. The so-called intellectuals who succeeded to influence a few by their corrupt ideology for destabilizing the social harmony and political stability failed at last well before the 1st phase of the election.
During this election there is one and only one agenda in the country whether Mr Modi should remain? All the voters have casted or going to cast their votes for Modi or against Modi. The political parties, ruling or opposition, have also worked on the same line. The citizens of India have thrown the manifestoes of the political parties in their oven. The election is moving around one man who is Modi. This election is going to decide “Modi was right and Modi will be right “. An election of its own kind. Wah Modi, a great leader.
